Optimism or Pessimism? What is the intent: physical violence/oppression, breaking free/opportunity, fetish/obsession. After the completion of the first “Fragments of Life’ series; I incorporated figurative hand formed clay with the nail shards. This series continued intuitively by creating a conversation between the pieces and myself... representing a compelling perspective of the moment.
